Tobias Wang is a masterful and deeply considerate photographer and director. He has created and managed media content reflecting subcultural and countercultural evolution for over 20 years, with a meticulous eye for capturing motion and the interplay between light and form.
At first, his work as a professional photographer was primarily focused on the world of music. This included capturing the energy of live concerts, directing music videos, as well as creating album and promotional art. Highlights include photographing artists such as Drake, Tiësto, Dua Lipa, and Adele, and touring with
Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia. During this time, he also worked with a wide array of corporate clients such as Live Nation, Sony Music Canada, Ink Entertainment, eOne Films and the Toronto International Film Festival.
Tobias’s ability to capture a dynamic moment has translated effortlessly into the world of athletics. He has been proud to work with clients like Nike, RBC Olympians and MLSE to express their vision and showcase the beauty, grit and determination of amateur and professional athletes in action.
Today, as the founder and Creative Director of Mi Productions, Tobias leads and mentors a team of creative minds helping global brands like LVMH, KITH, YSL Beauty, MLSE, and RBC realize their visual narrative visions.
